I’m a writer, investigative journalist, academic researcher, film producer and commentator. I’m interested in ‘security’ in the broadest sense - fixing and reforming the systems which should keep us safe, and often don’t - from prisons and justice, to hostile state infiltration and migration.

A Man’s Got Needs, a piece of creative nonfiction I wrote about my time in HMP Wandsworth, has been published by the Mechanics Institute Review.
